About the Journal
Asia–Pacific Humanities & Society Research (APHSR) is an open-access journal founded by the Asia Pacific Academy of Humanities and Sciences. It publishes interdisciplinary scholarship across the humanities and social sciences—including humanities, journalism, communication, sociology, economics, management, law, sport studies, and the arts—with a focus on the Asia–Pacific and a global outlook. APHSR is a quarterly journal published on a seasonal schedule; each issue features a dedicated theme and focal area. We welcome original research and state-of-the-art reviews driven by rigorous methods and well-defined research questions, aiming to bridge academia, policy, industry, and society. Editorial independence and good research practice are central to APHSR’s mission, ensuring integrity, visibility, and public impact.
